Built from the gate inwards.
Most estate software starts with a payments dashboard and works outwards. We started at the barrier, because that is where estates feel their problems first.
We spent our time watching how gates actually run. Guards writing names in a book that nobody reads. Residents phoning ahead and hoping. Excos chasing dues house by house, then handing over records nobody could reconcile. And every so often, a network interruption that quietly stopped everything.
So we built the platform we wanted our own estates to run on. Gate first, then dues and payments, then the things that make an estate a community rather than a collection of houses. And we built it to keep working on the days when the network does not.
